How do I keep my gecko warm without a heat lamp?

- Use a smaller travel container rather than a large one.
If you are not going to use a heat mat, then remember that you must maintain 68 °F (20°C) at night in the leopard gecko tank. Using a ceramic heat lamp, which doesn't give off light can help if the temperature in the tank is too low during the night.
